The information contained in the Panathenaia exhibit at this site was taken from an educational computer program on topics relevant to the exhibition Goddess and Polis: The Panathenaic Festival in Ancient Athens organized by the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.

The text was written and the images were selected by Justin Firestone and Heidi Steinmetz, both Classics majors and members of the Class of 1992.

The computer program and the graphics were developed by Tilmann Steinberg, a Computer Science major, Class of 1992. Assistance was given by Jennifer Miglionico, Class of 1995.

Technical support provided by Otmar Foelsche.

Text supervision by Jeremy Rutter.
This project was funded in part by a generous grant from the Presidential Venture Fund of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
